First Bank

Stop by the booth, learn about First Bank, pick up a flyer, and play Spin The Wheel!

Family Owned for Four Generations

For over four generations, First Bank has enjoyed a legacy of strength, agility, and long-term perspective.  Since 1910, we have remained dedicated to serving the communities in which we operate with an unwavering commitment.
This commitment began over 100 years ago in a small, rural community in St. Louis to help local clients reach their financial goals. And, although First Bank has grown to be one of the largest family-owned banks in the country, the steadfast commitment to serving our clients—and treating them like family—still remains the same.

From Main Street America to large-scale metropolitan areas, First Bank continues to be a vital part of the communities in which we serve. At First Bank, you’ll find the products and offerings typically only found with larger, publicly held financial institutions. Quite simply, we’re big enough to provide the products and services you need, but small enough to provide caring, personal service. At First Bank, our clients become part of the family.

    Our Commitment

In a world where banks seem more similar than different, we stand apart. First and foremost, our independence and family ownership gives us an advantage to our larger, publicly held counterparts. Not only can we act quickly with an empowered team but, by being engrained with the local communities, can also be more responsive to your specific needs. As an independent bank, we’re fully committed to staying that way.  We have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients in both prosperous and challenging economic times. Not many banks can boast this level of commitment.

    Client Focused

Our clients know they can rely on us, even as the landscape of banking changes.  First Bank continues to evolve along with it.  We’re always working to stay one step ahead, delivering innovative banking solutions to you. We relentlessly work to make it easy to bank with us.
Through the years we continually remain committed to simple, core values of success: client service, serving the community, and delivering new products.  As a family bank, we’re glad you consider us your financial services partner.  With First Bank, it’s like having a banker in the family.
Rest assured, with excitement and purpose, we will continue to prosper, grow and innovate as your bank of choice.

    Reptile and Amphibian Rescue Network

Visit RARN (Reptile and Amphibian Rescue Network) to learn more about the need to rescue these wonderful animals!

As reptiles and amphibians become increasingly popular as pets, problems with caring for them escalate. Reptile imports in the US now exceed those of exotic birds, and are second only to the vast numbers of imported ornamental fish. For every animal that makes it into the United States alive, many more have died. Of those that survive the import process, most will die within the first year of captivity due to improper care, abuse, neglect, and ignorance.
RARN rescues injured and sick reptiles and amphibians, nurses the animals back to health and finds proper homes for these animals. RARN also helps pet owners become educated in the care of their animals.
Your tax-dedutible donation to RARN will help rescue these needy animals, and get them proper care and homes.

    Coffee Connection

The COFFEE CONNECTION was established in the year 2000 on the location of the former Bruno's Ristorante, a landmark Italian restaurant on the Los Angeles Westside.  Much of the original Baroque architecture remains, including the tawny stained glass windows which cast a warm glow into the cafe; the brick archways and 'water-wall' with ferns and fountain which frames the outdoor yet private gated courtyard; and the vaulted ceilings and marble colonnades of our adjacent performing arts auditorium.

2014-15 will be the fifth year in FIRST for the Venice High Robotics Club!  In their Rookie year, they won two awards at their tournaments.  Last year they reached the semi-finals at the Monrovia Regionals. They have also participated in many outreach events including the Abbot Kinney Festival and local schools.  They are the first and only FTC robotics teams in West LA.

By participating in the FIRST competition, they will work in an environment similar to that of a real workplace, meeting the expectations of deadlines and working as an unit to accomplish multiple goals that eventually lead to success.
