Virginia Ernst has fought the
Giant. For years she has been in the
vanguard, along with Marty Rubin and others, in the fight to stop the noise and
air pollution, and the physical dangers to its neighbors, caused by the Santa
Monica Airport. She has been a quiet,
but firm, voice, letting the world know that the Santa Monica Airport is not a
good neighbor, and that the health and safety of all of the surrounding
community are threatened by its activities.
She is truly a neighborhood Hero.
