Sarah, our stalwart writer of the Mar Vista Mom blog has provided insight and support to our community since 2008!

We can count on her to keep us posted on all news and points of interest in the area. Her weekly Wrap Up of Mar Vista Farmers' Market about what's new and in season is fun and informative. 

She has served on the Mar Vista Community Council Green Committee for years helping to shape the ecological policies and sustainable practices of Mar Vista, and has been a tireless advocate for excellence in our local schools.  She has recently been instrumental in bringing the first Mar Vista Chamber of Commerce into being and has been working with Councilmember Bonin and Mayor Garcetti on the Great Streets initiative now to include Venice Blvd!

Most of all, Sarah Auerswald is a bright light in the neighborhood with just the right amount of proactivity and circumspection.  We are lucky to have her as she has been one of the key and consistent contributors to our community with the goal of working together, creating a strong neighborhood and making a place on the map of Los Angeles for all of us to enjoy and be proud of.
