Martin Rubin is the Founder of
Concerned Residents Against Airport Pollution, an organization devoted to
fighting the air and noise pollution caused by the Santa Monica Airport. Marty has been in the forefront of this fight
for years, and has been instrumental in all the progress that has been made
over the years to curtail the impact of the Airport. His tenacity and determination are
remarkable.
Marty is also a valuable leader in
his neighborhood. He is currently
serving as the President of the North Westdale Neighborhood Association, and is
bringing the same tenacious spirit to defending the well-being of the residents
of the North Westdale community, in addition to building a reservoir of
neighborhood goodwill hosting potlucks and talent shows for the association. He is truly a hero.
