Announcing the Cancellation
of the 2017 Mar Vista Community Fall Festival & Silent Auction
Due to recent
concerns that have arisen regarding organizational and liability issues for the
Festival, the Planning Committee and the MVCC have decided it is best to
cancel the Festival for the 2017 year. The Festival organizers are
confident that these issues will be resolved over the next few months and are
looking forward to the 2018 event.
Those vendors
and sponsors who have already signed up for the Festival will be personally
contacted over the next few days regarding the returning of paperwork and
payments.
In the interim,
the MVCC, in partnership with the Mar Vista Farmers’ Market, will be hosting a
Celebration of Mar Vista’s 90th Birthday at the Mar Vista Farmers’
Market. We will let you
know the exact date for the celebration when it is set.
