Kevin, the
son of Real Estate Broker, G William Gilroy, was born into Real Estate. He is
Mar Vista’s Broker Associate under the umbrella of Berkshire Hathaway
HomeServices California Properties in their Santa Monica office (formerly Prudential CA
Realty). Previously, Kevin held the position of office manager, managing the #1
team at Coldwell Banker Marina del Rey, selling luxury property on the sand. He solely handled 50 clients, 20+ active
listings and a dozen concurrent escrows on a weekly basis. Kevin has lived in
Mar Vista and managed 7 apartment buildings in our Mar Vista community for the
past 19 years and was one of the leaders of Cub Scout Pack 59 at Mar Vista park. He has
worked with the City of Los Angeles, LAHD, HUD
and the State of California
regarding landlord/tenant law. Kevin is one of the most experienced real estate
agents on the Westside and has dealt with every facet of the ever-changing, complex
business of real estate.
Melissa is
driven for success. She graduated Summa cum Laude from Bryant
University, Smithfield, RI
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. In 1989, she started selling residential real
estate on the East Coast and became Realtor of the Year. Subsequently, she
focused her efforts on land development projects and new residential sales and
construction. This was about the time
when she acquired her love for décor and design and received awards and
accolades in the furniture and design industry. You just can’t find anyone who
knows how to turn a house into a home with the finishing touches that appeal to
the market’s current buyers. Melissa may
not pull out her Louis Vuitton’s like she used to, but still keeps a focused
eye on detail with a great admiration for elegance and taste. Her easy-going,
straight-forward personality, along with her vast experience in all facets of
the real estate industry, makes her the perfect choice.
