Mar Vista Community Fall Festival & Silent Auction is Celebrating

Heroes Among Us

Join us on Saturday, October 17^th, between 10 and 4, as the Mar Vista community takes a day to celebrate!

Once again the Mar Vista Park will host a day of great food, entertainment, booth presentations, and just plain FUN for the whole family.  The Festival is brought to the community by the Mar Vista Community Council, our Festival Partners and Sponsors, and the Mar Vista Recreation Center.  With our theme of “Heroes Among Us” we hope to inspire everyone to find ways to be an everyday hero to their community, neighbors, and family.

This is a great event for all generations. Kids will have a blast with bouncers, face painting and balloon animals. Entertainment will start with family yoga at 10:15 and continue all day, rocking out to Monogroove at 3:00 to close the show. We have great donations at the Silent Auction - get there before it closes at 3:30! While you’re checking these out in the auditorium, visit our Heroes Wall and read about the neighborhood heroes whose energy, passion, and selfless dedication to our community make Mar Vista so special. Visit the booths to meet the people, businesses, and community organizations who are our neighbors including those who are working with the MVCC Aging in Place Committee to make this a great community as we age.
