Lenore French

Lenore French is the founding member of Green Communications Initiative (GCI).  Located in Mar Vista, GCI is an environmental nonprofit public benefit corporation devoted to people consuming responsibly.   GCI is the central organization promoting the walk-ability of our community.  GCI is behind the walking signs at our Shop Small Event, Green Garden Showcase and is a partner organization in the upcoming Make It Mar Vista event.  GCI will also be bringing a brand new art walk to Mar Vista the first Thursday of December, March, June and September. 

A former television executive, Lenore worked with many well-known figures in broadcast media.  But all of that pales by comparison to her shared passion and environmental calling.  She believes Communication is a key to unlock the problem of human over-consumption.  And Mar Vista is a community that has equally embraced its environmental responsibility.
