NOAA Fisheries will be
available at the Green Tent from 12-2pm. Come by to learn about sustainable seafood
and NOAA's FishWatch.gov, an
online resource for environmentally-minded consumers. FishWatch includes
information about the harvest practices of U.S. fisheries, measures taken to
protect the marine ecosystem, and the current status of U.S. fish stocks. In
addition to wild-caught seafood profiles, you can also find out what NOAAFisheries is doing to develop a sustainable U.S. aquaculture industry and make
sure that imported seafood is safe and comes from legal and sustainable
fisheries.
